(December, 2009 – February, 2010)
All classes meet Sunday mornings 9:45 - 10:45

Young Adults
The Core-inthians Class
World Religions
In today's world, our neighbor could very well be Muslim or Hindu or
Buddhist. There is often confusion in understanding what they believe
and how the gospel can be shared with someone of another religion.
Join this class in exploring the religions in today's world and how they
compare to Christianity.
Teachers: Cori & Will Thompson
Where: Abernethy Student Center

Adult 1
The Koinonia (Fellowship) Class
The Gospel of John
In the Deepening Life Together series, this study examines John's
account of the life and ministry of Jesus and how it differs from the
other Gospels. Come and take a fresh look at Jesus especially in light
of the approaching Christmas season.
Teachers: Shirley Huffman
Where: The Althouse Room

Adult 2
The Tektons (Builders) Class
The Ten Commandments
Our society rationalizes what is right and what is wrong. This video
study portrays situations where even Christians "fudge" when it is
convenient. The Ten Commandments are emphasized as important for
our society, our witness, and in helping us deal with our sin.
Teacher: Kim Ingle and Joe Cofer
Where: Former Pastor's Study

Adult 3
The Committed Corinthians Class
What's So Amazing About Grace?
Philip Yancey explores the issue of grace at "street level." The world
tries to make sense of this great distinctive of the church. "Grace does
not excuse sin, but it treasures the sinner."
Teachers: Steve Brackett, Rick Oxford, and Paul Schowalter
Where: Moss Room

Adult 4
The Althouse Class
God Heard Their Cry

the lands of the Bible. In this eighth volume, class members will take a
look at the powerful Egyptians and how God answered the cry of His
oppressed people.
Teachers: Fonda Brittain, Jane Murphy, and David Abernethy
Where: Zwingli Room

Adult 5
The Charis Class
The Gospel of Matthew (cont.)
This class is finishing an in-depth study of Matthew, presenting Jesus
as the Jewish Messiah. In these last chapters dealing with His death
and resurrection, we realize afresh that Jesus was born to this world to
die for our sins.
Teachers: Karin & Tony Blanchard
Where: Former Christian Education Office

Senior Adults Ministry @ Corinth

"Young at Heart" is Corinth's ministry to Senior Adults over 50. Our
event schedule may change and programs may be added during the
year, so please check your Corinthian.

Ministry for Single Adults

Being single isn't something to be fixed or avoided, but it's easy to feel
left out in a world that often time focuses on couples and families.
Corinth's Singles Ministry welcomes all states of "Singleness" -- never
been-married, divorced, widowed, and those who attend without their
significant other.

Our Singles Ministry seeks to equip single adults to play a significant
and productive role in the Corinth family. We strive to follow Christ by
offering an ear to listen, an arm to give you a hug, a shoulder to cry on,
a hand to help, and a smile to brighten your day! This Ministry offers
single adults education, fellowship, and support through Sunday
School, Bible Study, and social events.
