How to Join Corinth
As visitors become acquainted with the people of the congregation and the life of the church, they may want to participate in a “Welcome Sunday,” when the pastor will give a 15-20 minute overview of church life.
The next step after Welcome Sunday is to attend the Pastor's Class, a four-week Sunday School class. The pastors will dig a little deeper into Corinth life, including how God uses the congregation to change lives through the Story of Jesus, worship, community, and the Bible.
Pastor's Class participants will learn how to join Corinth as members, but many people attend the class without formally joining.
Membership in Corinth is open to all who profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Members pledge to attend worship, share the Lord’s Supper, live the Christian life, share in the work of the church, contribute to its support, and seek the spiritual welfare of the congregation and community.
Watch the bulletin and newsletter for dates of Welcome Sundays and the Pastor's Class, offered 3-4 times each year. Services of receiving new members are usually held during the "Fifth Sunday Family" worship services, when all our worship services are combined.
