Current Sermon Series

Major Profits from Minor Prophets

Twelve little books tucked into the back of the “Old” Testament. They
are so small that in Hebrew scrolls of the Bible they were collected into
one “book.” Few Christians make these writings part of their regular
devotional reading. We want dramatic stories. We want good news.

Much of what the “minor prophets” wrote is neither dramatic story or
good news. God’s messengers offer strong condemnation of wayward
people, and promise that judgment is coming.

But a wise believer will not avoid this part of the Bible. It’s in there for a
reason. Twelve timeless messages will speak powerfully to us if we will
give them a chance. Open your heart to a fresh adventure in seeking
truth.
