Corinth Women’s Ministries is committed to providing an atmosphere of love, acceptance and encouragement that draws women at Corinth into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. We support opportunities for learning, fellowship and the use of our God given gifts and passions to help equip us to be faithful in our homes, our church and our community.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY TEAMS

ENRICHMENT MINISTRY:  Enriches and deepens the spiritual lives of Corinth women

• Mentoring Ministry Team – Coordinates mentoring pairs, holds 2 training/fellowship lunches
• Retreat Ministry Team – Works together to plan at least one women’s retreat/year

EDUCATION MINISTRY:  Provides Bible studies and other Bible-based classes

• Bible Study Ministry Team – Leads/facilitates a variety of Bible Studies
• Special Classes Ministry Team– Provides Bible-based classes on topics of concern to women

FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY:  Provides opportunities for women to get to know each other

• Decorating Ministry Team – Works together to decorate for special events
• Quarterly Fellowship Events – Work with the Leadership Team to plan quarterly events such as Fall Luncheon, Christmas Tea, etc.
• Newcomers’ Desserts – To welcome visitors and new members with a dessert fellowship

COMPASSION MINISTRY:  Provides care, support and prayer for those in need

• Bereavement Meals Team– Provides meals for grieving families through planned procedures
• Card Ministry Team– Sends cards to our sick, grieving and for celebrations
• Prayer Shawl Team – Provides prayer shawls for those who are ill, grieving, etc.
• Prayer Team – Spends extended prayer times for church and member concerns

IN-REACH MINISTRY:  Connects women with others with similar interests and needs

• Circles – Meet for fellowship, service and mutual support
• Crafts and Conversation – Plans monthly opportunities for sharing and craft projects
• Interest Groups – Organizes special interest groups in areas such as exercise, cooking, etc.

OUTREACH MINISTRY:  Organizes ministry to the needy both locally and globally

• Special Ministries Team – Chooses 1-2 missions projects/year for women
• Picnics With A Purpose Team – Plans picnics twice/year to support mission projects
• Safe Harbor Team – Coordinates efforts/projects to help this local women’s mission

INFORMATION MINISTRY:  Provides a variety of venues for communication of information

• The LOOP Newsletter – Produces an informative newsletter for our women/friends
• Bulletin Board Team – Provides informative, attractive display for women’s events
• Welcome Packets Team – Provides packets of info and welcome to visitors and new members
• Photography and Historian Team – Takes event pictures and documents these in notebook
